Laila

"Laila" is a new Tollywood action comedy film directed by Ram Narayan, featuring Vishwak Sen and Akanksha Sharma in the main roles. Sonu Model, a renowned beautician, disguises himself as a woman named Laila, and the film becomes a mix of comic, romantic, and action scenes.

Sonu Model or Laila (Vishwak Sen), is a talented beautician from Hyderabad who is renowned for his skill with makeup and gentle manner. By lending her money and promoting her husband Nagaraj's oil business, he assists his client Jyoti. When a woman poses as Sub-inspector Shankar's wife and causes a stir at Sonu's salon, things become sticky. When both of Shankar's wives abandon him, he blames Sonu and unleashes vengeance on him. Concurrently, one Khaidi desires a movie-titled son-in-law for his son Rustum and gets Sundari as such after her breathtaking transformation courtesy of Sonu. The plot goes haywire when Shankar arranges to have Sonu attacked by a goon, but Sonu is not found and befriends Jenny, with whom he falls in love.

Mayhem ensues when Rustum kidnaps girls from Sonu's salon but finally falls for and marries Sundari. However, after seeing her natural look after marriage, his family is shocked. Meanwhile, a wedding-related scandal emerges when it's revealed that the oil used was adulterated, putting Sonu under police watch. To escape trouble and protect his salon, Sonu disguises himself as Laila. In this disguise, he meets various clients, and Rustum even falls for Laila, unaware of the truth. A last surprise uncovers Sonu's true identity, clears his name in the oil scandal, and settles all misunderstandings.
