“Lucky Man” is a 2023 Tamil comedy thriller directed by Balaji Venugopal under Think Studios and SNS Movie Production LLP. The movie features Yogi Babu in the role of Murugan, Raichal Rabecca as Deivanai, and Veera as Sivakumar.

“Murugan” is a poor real estate agent who lives with his wife, “Deivanai”, and their young son. He is a man of bad luck and financial burdens, being laughed at for being unlucky all the time. When he wins a car in a lucky draw, his life becomes a little interesting. The car becomes more than just a means of transport to Murugan; it's a sign of good luck that brings happiness to his life. But Deivanai believes otherwise, and it creates minor tiffs between them.

The situation worsens as Murugan's life is disrupted by a series of conflicts following his encounter with a policeman. His life further turns upside down when his favorite car is stolen. Determined to recover his "lucky charm," Murugan goes on a journey filled with unexpected twists, hilarious moments, and tense confrontations.

It deals with how far an ordinary man can go to get his happiness and seek justice. “Lucky Man” is an easygoing entertainer because of the lead character played by Yogi Babu, who comes across quite naturally with excellent timing and is funny enough at places. However, a film like this does not need an extraordinary plot; even occasional lapses in the script will do if it makes it fun.

“Lucky Man” is available on Amazon Prime Video, and it was released in theatres on 1st September 2023. A light-hearted film with laughter and a touch of thrill that you can include in your list of movies. A great combination of humor and drama, it is one of the finest movies to see for fans of comedy thrillers.
