Omi Khurana, played by Kunal Kapoor has just come back dejected from the UK after a dreaded gangster is after his life to return his money. His big dream thus has come crashing down and he has come back faking to be a big lawyer in London. He is also guilty of stealing money from his affectionate grandfather, who has since then become disorientated and also forgotten the famed recipe of the Chicken Khurana, which has given the Khurana dhaba fame and recognition across Punjab.

 

Omi is also shattered about the fact that his childhood love Harman, played by Huma Qureshi, is engaged to be married to her cousin Jeet and neither is happy about this. Later Omi learns that his grandfather died after his last visit to his restaurant and it is now upon him to restore the integrity of his grandfather’s legacy. He thus takes the help of Harman is doing so and they both rekindle their love for each other. Meanwhile, Jeet comes out and confesses that he is in love with a war widow and has a daughter with her.

 

Meanwhile Omi, makes a huge discovery of his grandfather’s secret ingredient that made his Chicken Khurana dish so popular. It is none other than a narcotic drug and he decides not to disclose it to anyone. He and Harman finally get married.

The movie is written and directed by Sameer Sharma and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Anurag Kashyap and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The music is composed by Amit Trivedi.
