Mela is an Action-Crime Thriller Emotional-Romantic Family Drama crafted with excellence by Prakash Mehra. The Stroy revolves around the life of the villagers overcoming their difficulties done in the Panchayat System. The Life of Three individuals- Kanhaiya (played by Sanjay Khan)- A Newcomer to village fells in love with Lajoo, but due to their unknown past and religion, their marriage stays aborted by Panchayat. Bansilal (played by Rajendra Nath)- A man fells in love with another caste girl and Shakti Singh (played by Feroz Khan)- A Bandit whose love Santho gets raped by the Thakur joined hands with each other to defeat the Dictatorship.
