Justice Gopichand is retired and lives an isolated life in Ooty. Pritam and Jaggan work for him. One day Pritam comes across a girl Nandini, arriving in Ooty and helps her find a hotel. A few days later he gets a call from the hotel saying that she is insane and they should take her back. Pritam is left with no choice but to take care of Nandini himself. He becomes very fond of her and starts to like her but later finds out that living with her is impossible as her tantrums come and go anytime. One day Jaggan spots a news where there is a cash prize on Nandini as she has eloped from her home.
They wait for the prize money to become more and more. Turns out Nandini isnt mentally stable but was pretending to be so as she wanted to meet her estranged dad who is non other than Gopichand himself.
The film is directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Pranlal Mehta. The music is composed by Raam Laxman. The star cast includes Jay Mehta, Revathi, Amrish Puri,Annu Kapoor,Anil Dhawan,Sharat Saxena, Anju Mahendru, Jagdeep and Asha Sharma.
