Rohini is a talented actress but has no luck to get roles. One day she is caught stealing at a store and a man named Ranjeet comes to her rescue. Soon Rohini meets another actor Ranjeet during rehearsals and they both fall in love and get married. Things are blissful in their married life until one day a freak accident on set renders Rakesh blind. He slowly gets frustrated with his life of being dependent.
Rohini gets him a nurse named Sita to look after him. Sita finds out that Rohini and Ranjeet are having an affair but does not reveal it to Rakesh. One day while delivering a package, Rakesh comes to know of Ranjeet and Rohini’s affair. He gets furious and makes up his mind to teach them a lesson. He fixes a voice recorder on their telephone and also learns sound based shooting. After a few days he shoots Rohini, with Ranjeet’s revolver. Inspector Shatru is put on the case and suspects Sita of being the killer.
