Shehnai is an Emotional-Musical Romantic Family Tragedy Drama Film crafted with excellence by S.D. Narang. The Story revolves around the life of Deepak (played by Biswajit Chatterjee)- A Kind-Hearted boy living with his Widowed Mother- Shobha (played by Nirupa Roy)- in a Small house and fells in love with Preeti (played by Rajshree)- A beautiful girl and his colleague. Their parents agree to marry each other and get settled in America after their studies. Shobha wants Deepak to become an Army Officer- as his father was and he agrees to becomes an Army Man. Things get complicated- when Preeti's Mother opposes his choice- because Shobha and her Husban died on the Battlefield and she hates the Army, leading to consequences.
