Tilak, played by Tusshar Kapoor illegally publishes unlicensed books to make money in Mumbai. He hatches a plan one day along with his close friends and aids Mandook, played by Pitobash Tripathy and Ramesh, played by Nikhil Dwivedi, and kidnaps a well-known author, demanding the manuscript of his new book so that they will be the first to publish it.
Meanwhile the other characters in the movie have their own struggles like Sawan, who is an aspiring cricketer wants to enter the under-22 Mumbai team, while NRI Abhay, played by Sendhil Ramamurthy, returns to India hoping to start a small business of his own. He meets Shalmili, played by Preeti Desai and falls in love with her.
Few of the five characters Tilak, Abhay, Mandook, Ramesh and Sawa n are burdened with some guilt of their previous actions while others are rewarded for their good deeds as a part of Karma. Whatever the case, they all end up taking different paths in the end. The movie is directed by Raj Nidhimoru and Krishna D.K. The film is produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor. The music is composed by Sachin-Jigar and Harpreet.
