Superboys Of Malegaon is one of the recently released movies of the drama genre. This new film’s story mainly revolves around the life of a group of some aspiring filmmakers from the small town of Malegaon, whose passion for cinema continuously drives them through various triumphs and betrayals. The film’s story is set against the backdrop of the year 1997 and it starts with Nasir, an ambitious filmmaker who gathers his friends Farogh, Shafique, Irfan, and Akram in order to create a local film named ‘Malegaon Ke Sholay,’ which would be a local adaptation of the timeless film ‘Sholay,’ and as they release this film, it becomes a massive success, but at the same time, the creative differences begin to emerge within them wherein Farogh desires to make original films and thereby leaves the group and migrates himself to Mumbai prior to the Nasir’s refusal to deviate from the adaptations. Later, in their group, Nasir enjoys the critical acclaim for his direction , while Shafique gets diagnosed with terminal cancer, and then, as their friends come to know about his prolonged illness, they all reunite to create a film titled ‘Superman of Malegaon,’ in which they cast Shafique in the main lead role and thereby they pay a tribute to his life. This is one of the recent movie releases that entertains the audiences through its drama, thrill and suspense, as well as endures the spirit of friendship through its storyline that is centered around the people’s love for cinema, that makes it a must-watch for the cinephiles.
