Jimmy, played by Saif Ali Khan works in a call center and also teaches English. He meets Pooja, played by Kareena Kapoor and is besotted by her charm. She wants English tutoring and accompanies her to her house and realizes it is her boss Bhaiyyaji, played by Anil Kapoor who requires tutoring in English. Slowly Pooja and Jimmy become close and she reveals that she is working for Bhaiyyaji only to repay his debt then she will head to Haridwar where her father’s ashes need to be scattered in the river. However, they both hatch a plan to steal Bhaiyyaji’s money and run. While Jimmy is away to inform his call center on him leaving, Pooja has already run away with the money.


Jimmy learns that Bhaiyyaji is actually a dreaded gangster. Meanwhile Bhaiyyaji hires a goon Bachchan, played by Akshay Kumar to nab Jimmy and Pooja. He catches hold of Jimmy and they both go looking for Pooja in Haridwar. Later Jimmy realizes that Pooja was just using him to take the money and run and is not in love with him. Meanwhile Bachchan and Pooja come to know that they are childhood friends and fall in love. She reaveals that she wants Bachchan dead, as he is the one who killed her father. In the end Pooja stabs Bachchan and gets married to Bachchan.


The movie is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Aditya Chopra. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar.
