Dolly and Tony study in the same college. She is from a weathy background while Tony comes from a poor household. He falls in love with her but is afraid to confess his feelings. One day she hears him singing and falls in love with his voice. Soon she comes to know that it is Tony’s voice and both fall in love. They decide to get married. Tony however wants his sister to marry first and thus Dolly makes her brother marry his sister and then the young lovers finally marry each other. Things seem blissful for a while in Tony and Dolly’s marital life but soon problems begin to erupt. Brought up in a spoilt and rich home, Dolly is not used to a humble home and thus shows her arrogance time and again. She disrespects Tony’s mother and sends her to the hospital. Tony is furious at her behavior and leaves her. Then he concentrates on his singing career. Soon Dolly realizes her mistake and wants to get back with Tony again. The film is directed by A C Trilok Chandra and produced by Tito,Toto. The music is composed by R D Burman. The star cast includes Kumar Gaurav, Girish Karnad, Monty, Paintal, Poonam Dhillon, Nirupa Roy, Rakesh Bedi, Birbal, Mushtaq Merchant, Manmouji, Mukul Agrawal, Laxmikant Kudalkar, Raj Kishore, Raj Mehra, Ranjeet, Nazima,
