World Famous Lover

“World Famous Lover” is a 2020 Telugu-language romantic drama written and directed by Karthik Madhav. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda in a double role as Gautham and Seenayya "Srinu" with Raashii Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Catherine Tresa in the lead roles.

The film is based on four different love stories, where its plot explains the intricacies of love from different people's perspectives. The film starts off with Gautham in prison, where he says that he has a story to share and then the movie moves into his past with Yamini (Raashii Khanna).

Gautham and Yamini are staying together. Yamini supports Gautham for all his writings. But still, Gautham does nothing, just passes his time with his dreams in mind. Day by day, Yamini starts feeling that there is no proper growth in her life and also no one cares about her feelings. Yamini was broken-hearted and she had lost interest in everything in her life and decided to get away from the life of Gautham.

As the film flows, there is a presentation of three more love stories where with each story unfolding, love is portrayed from another angle, relationships, etc. There's one middle-class relationship that exists with Seenayya "Srinu" (Vijay Deverakonda) and his wife Suvarna (Aishwarya Rajesh), full of problems, or so to speak. The final love story that unfolds here showcases the very intricate relationship that Srinu holds with his superior, Smitha (Catherine Tresa). All these love stories depict various emotions, including sacrifice, pain, passion, and self-discovery.

The movie marries romance with intense emotions in a way that shows how love can be both beautiful and heart-wrenching. Through the journey of Gautham, the movie asks whether love is about holding or letting go and whether true love always deserves a second chance.
