Lalita is a beautiful performer who has many admirers. JB who is a wealthy man, one day sees her and instantly is attracted to her beauty. She wishes to marry her at any cost and thus bribes her uncle to get them both married. Her uncle is greedy for wealth thus agrees to the marriage. Lalita is however against it and refuses but JB kidnaps her and locks her in his house till the wedding. On the wedding day Lalita manages to escape and meets a theatre owner named Banke and starts to work with him. He then takes her to his friend Raj who is looking for a girl to act like his pretend wife to convince his grandfather that he has finally settled down. She agrees and becomes his fake wife. In the process Lalita and Raj fall in love. Meanwhile JB is on a rampage looking for Lalita and comes to know of her whereabouts. He then kills Banke and goes to Raj’s house to reveal the truth to his grandfather. He then drags her out and takes her with him.
Lalita is rage stabs JB and just when he is about to attack her viciously, she is saved by Raj and he thus kills JB. Raj and Lalita finally tie the knot. The movie is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Yusuf Bhatt. The music is composed by Anu Malik and Anwar Sagar,Indeevar,Maya Govind, Rahat Indori and Rani Malik. The story and screenplay is by Reema Rakesh Nath. The cinematography is by Rajan Kinagi.
