One of the classical actor-directors, Aamir Khan, is ever ready to receive a grand tribute as his birthday is around the corner. His birthday is on the upcoming Friday, dated 14th March. In order to make his birthday celebrations memorable, one of the leading multiplex chains, PVR INOX, has announced a film festival in order to shed light on the several films that made a huge impact on the cinema. The film festival is named ‘Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jaadugar.'
While addressing the film festival, Ajay Bijli, who is the Managing Director of PVR INOX LIMITED, said, ’We are extremely pleased to celebrate Aamir Khan’s legacy; he has been one of the remarkable artists of the industry. He has always been at the forefront of transforming the film industry over the decades. His films have certainly been portraying some social messages, which quite often break the box office records, which tend to set a new benchmark for various aspiring actors.”
Aamir had firstly arrived in the limelight with ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and never looked back as he continued to deliver several masterpieces such as ‘Raja Hindustani,’ ‘Dil,' 'Akele Hum Akele Tum,' ‘3 Idiots,' and ‘Laal Singh Chaddha.' Further, he produced several films such as ‘Delhi Belly,' ‘Taare Zameen Par’,' and ‘Peepli Live.'
Currently, Aamir is working on ‘Sitare Zameen Par,’ which can be expected to release this year. This film is a sequel to ‘Taare Zameen Par,' which marked his debut as a director.
