Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, is all set for its OTT release on ZEE5 on September 5, 2025.
The romantic drama, inspired by Ruskin Bond’s celebrated short story The Eyes Have It, brings a heartfelt tale of love, dreams, and emotional connection.
The film follows the journey of Jahaan (Vikrant Massey), a visually impaired musician, and Saba (Shanaya Kapoor), an aspiring theatre artist. Their chance meeting leads to a unique bond built not on appearances but on shared dreams and soulful conversations. The narrative beautifully explores love beyond sight, making it an emotional experience for viewers.
The film also features Zain Khan Durrani in a pivotal role and marks Shanaya Kapoor’s acting debut, daughter of Bollywood actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor. Produced by Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla, the movie initially released in theatres on July 11, 2025, but failed to make a mark at the box office despite its promising premise.
With its second innings on OTT, the makers are hopeful the film will reach a wider audience. Music by Vishal Mishra adds depth to the soulful storytelling, making it a must-watch romantic drama.
