Dharmendra’s death on November 24th after a prolonged illness, left the country as well as the Indian film industry devastated and in the state of mourning.  Several fans remembered the He Man of Bollywood and there were many who raised lot of speculations regarding the Deol family . It all started with Dharmendra’s sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Doel holding a prayer meet for their father, where Dharmendra Paaji’s second wife Hema Malini did not attend. It was also understood by media that Hema Malini had Gita Paath at her residence with her daughters separately on the same day and two weeks later Hema Malini along with Esha Deol and Ahana Deol had hosted a separate prayer meet in Delhi.


Hema Malini has set the records straight for the ongoing talks about her bond with Dharmendra’s sons. 


Hema Malini opened up for the first time about her bond with the sons Sunny and Bobby from Dharmendra’s first wife Prakash Kaur.  The veteran actress said, it’s always been very nice and cordial. Even today after Dharmendra is no more, it has been nice and she expressed that she doesn’t know why people think something is wrong between us. It is only because people love to gossip and why should we be answerable to them ? is it necessary for me to give an explanation ? said the actress. 


Hema Malini further stated, it’s her personal life and that the family is absolutely close to each other and that’s what it is and she would not like to talk more about it just to clear off stories that people are making up .  Hema Malini said it is very sad that people use the grief of celebrities and write articles to suit their speculations. 


About the Museum for Dharam Paaji .


Hema Malini said, Sunny Deol is planning the museum in his father’s memory and he will consult her as well and tell her what is being planned. 


Actress Hema Malini further revealed that she has not yet found her courage to watch her husband late Dharmendra’s last film Ikkis and that she will watch it when she is ready and her wounds of losing him begin to heal.
