On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Karan Johar directorial debut film, "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai," a special screening was held in Mumbai on Sunday evening. The audience was surprised when the movie’s stars, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, along with Karan Johar, attended the event to talk about the movie’s journey. During the screening, Shah Rukh expressed the significance of the film in their lives and the bond he shares with Karan Johar. Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that while some movies are forgotten over time and some perform well momentarily, "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" has stood the test of time. He also spoke about how he feels proud to have launched Karan Johar, who was a young filmmaker at the time, just like his own son Aryan.

Despite the absence of actress Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji made the event special with their presence. Shah Rukh Khan opted for a simple black jacket and jeans, while Rani looked stunning in a white and black saree.

Dharma Production's Instagram page shared a picture of the trio from the special night. The caption expressed the excitement of seeing them together and mentioned missing the presence of Kajol. It added that the celebration of love and friendship has become more grand on the 25th anniversary of "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai."

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar also addressed the audience on this special day. He thanked the lead cast for taking the time to attend the screening and expressed his gratitude for the movie's success. Karan Johar remembered his father Yash Johar advice, who had told him that even if the movie performed averagely, it would mark the beginning of his successful career. He further expressed his happiness that the movie did well.

The special screening of "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" took place on Sunday night with tickets priced at ₹25 only. This low price point was a pleasant surprise for audiences, as they had the chance to watch the movie in a modern multiplex at an affordable rate.

The star-studded special screening was a big event, where Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar shared their thoughts on the movie’s journey. The emotions and nostalgia surrounding this iconic movie continue to entertain audiences even after 25 years.
