Shweta Tripathi set to make a comeback to the theatre is not only shaping up her acting career but also has brought her the love of her life. She will be sharing the stage with her husband, actor and rapper, Cheeta in the much awaited, ‘External Affairs’.
Shweta has every reason to be excited.
Expressing her excitement and joy she said the theatre demands your complete presence through the 80-minute performance. She further said, every show is unique because the audience react quite differently and unlike acting in front of the camera, theatre is up and alive and unpredictable and it has no retakes once you are in front of the audience. That’s what makes it magical moment for the performers. They have to be at their best.
The actress revealed she is inspired to become and actor watching plays and tries to create the same emotional connection with the audiences. She also shared how the theatre has given her most favourite human that is Cheeta, whom she met during a direction of a play by Akarsh Khurrana.
Interestingly, External affairs is directed by Akarsh’s brother Adhaar Khurana in which she describes her role as semi famous influencer, a character that is completely different from her real-life personality. She expressed, every role of hers has helped her discover a new side of herself and added that the both actors and the characters constantly have evolved through the process.
