Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker opened up about asking for work without any hesitation. In a recent interview, she stated, she had once sent a text message to Aditya Chopra requesting for a role in Salman Khan’s film. However, Aditya Chopra had turned down her request. At the time when Aditya Chopra was working on the casting for Salman Khan’s Sultan.

Swara said, ‘ Main bahut acchi pehelwan banungi’

Swara Bhasker has asked for a role in the film Sultan and had recalled she had written to Aditya Chopra, Main Bahut acchi pehelwan banungi’ but he had replied, ‘Nahi mujhe aisa nahi lagta ‘! Swara was determined to get a good role and felt he should have cast her as she would have made a very good wrestler.




The actress went on to say if we maintain too much of formality and restraint, we will not get work, hence as an outsider, she didn’t have anyone to recommend her and had to do it herself. Whatever we have to do to get the role in a film without a recommendation, we have to learn to snatch the role. The actress said whatever she has achieved to date, she had fought for it or earned it on her own, whichever way it may have come to her.

Swara admitted she has otherwise been always polite in every aspect of her life but she has never been ashamed to ask anyone for work . She said it’s completely fine to ask, request for work but may not be necessarily enjoy doing it but she still has to do it because one shouldn’t have hesitation.

Swara Bhasker said she has asked to cast her or consider her in their casting but ever since she is pregnant, she hasn’t asked for work.

Swara had not worked in Sultan with Salman Khan but had essayed the role of his sister in the film Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo in 2015.
