The Viral Fever has entered the Marathi cinema with its first few films, Bayangi: Palaychi Nahi Talaychi. With the super natural elements and humor which is unusual the film promises to bring together a talented star cast and a creative team.


Bayangi: Palaychi Nahi Talaychi is set against the backdrop of the Konkan region that revolves around the folklore of Bayangi. A supernatural spirit that is believed to be trapped inside a coconut. The story is a folklore believed that the spirit can bring prosperity to its owners.  However, the promise of wealth that comes in the dangerous condition. 


Bayangi: Palaychi Nahi Talaychi is about four bachelors in the folklore.


The folklore of the folk story is about four bachelors who come across Bayangi and start believing that they have found a short cut to the luxurious life. The excitement soon takes over the dark turn of events that every wish they make big or small comes to them with a terrifying price. What they had dreamt of sees it as an opportunity to change their lives gradually with the turn of dangerous events and situations.


Produced by TVF Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Abhay Raut who had previously directed Gullak bringing in the Season 5. The film also features Amey Wagh in the lead role alongside Hardeek Joshi, Manmeet Pem, Avinash Khedkar in pivotal roles. 


A combination of supernatural folklore and quirky humor, Bayangi marks a new direction for TVF as one of the new ventures in Marathi films. The announcement comes at a busy time when the production house has released nice shows in this year already including Gullak Season 5, Sapne Vs. Everyone Season 2, Aspirants Season 3, Hello Bacchon Season 1 and Space Gen: Chandrayaan Season 1. The Viral Fever further announced the project such as Vyan and College Fest.
