After a super successful 1st season, the makers of the series Crackdown are back with season 2. The new season will not only bring extra thrill, action and excitement but bring a host of new faces to the already stellar cast. Season 1 starred Shriya Pilgaonkar, Saqib Saleem, Iqbal Khan, Waluscha De Sousa and many more. The second will feature actors like Sonali Kulkarni and Freddy Daruwala among others. 

Actor Mudasir Bhat will be reprising his role as Kabir. The second season is being shot in the beautiful valleys of Kashmir where Bhat hails from. Talking about shooting there, the actor stated, “Shooting in a place where you belong brings back so much nostalgia and my heart was overwhelmed with this experience. My family was super proud of their son who actually shot in his hometown with so many talented actors and was one amongst them. This does add a feather to my cap.” 

Talking about the series’ director, Mudasir further added, “As an actor I have never worked with someone as humble , generous and enthusiastic  as our very own director Apoorva Lakhia . He is a gem of a person and  shooting with him feels like a different experience all together . He has always been so supportive and like an elder brother to me .He is the master of his craft which makes him an expert at what he does  and working with him gives us a lot of experience too.” 

Mudasir revealed, “So hope you all like this season as well and  I’m sure you all are waiting for the series to start streaming hence will give you a little heads up and tentatively we will hit your screen on July end or September 2022 only on your favourite platform Voot Select.”
