Punjabi films have a penchant for giving you relatable, warm, family-oriented and fun stories. With so many hit films brought out one after another since the pandemic, another one is all set to hit the big screens. We are talking about the most awaited comedy film Saunkan Saunkne starring Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira. 

Producer Jatin Sethi is confident that the film will fulfill the audiences desire for a fun, entertaining film. He said, “I am a Punjabi, hence I am aware of the Punjabi audiences and understand their likes and dislikes. All they need is entertainment. How can you make them laugh? That’s the question I asked myself and it led to the making of Saunkan Saunkne. This shows that somewhere, we understand the market.” 

Jatin further added, “The moment I heard the film’s one-line idea, I was on board. We knew that we had a winner in our hands. We also got a stellar cast. The audiences are surely in for a treat and enjoy Saunkan Saunkne.” Actress Sargun said, “It’s heartening audiences are showering us with love. If this is what has happened after the trailer, I can’t imagine what’ll happen once they see the film!”

Shaukan Shaukane is produced by Jatin Sethi’s Naad Studios in association with Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata. The film will release on 13th May 2022.
