Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh started her career as a model and then made her acting debut with a Kannada film Gilli in 2009. She did several Telugu and Tamil films and has received many accolades and awards, and the nomination for the Filmfare Awards South. 

In 2014, Rakul Preet made her debut in Yaariyan 2014 followed by a few other films such as De De Pyaar De in 2019.

In 2020 Rakul Preet acted in the film Shimla Mirchi, a story about a divorced mom essayed by Hema Malini and Rakul was her daughter trying to get her mother married off and she falls in love with the young lad RajKummar Rao. A light film with humour with both daughter and mother falling in love with the same man!! 

Runway 34 in 2022, Doctor G in the same year. She had her first release in 2022 with the action film Attack co-starred with John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernadez directed by Lakshya Raj Anand who did his directorial debut with this film. In Runway 34, she starred opposite Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan. She also featured in a Slice of Life comedy called Thank God by Indra Kumar alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Ajay Devgn. 

Rakul Preet also acted in a film called Cuttputtli with Akshay Kumar. She also did a few films for the OTT channels such as Boo and I Love You both of which were released on JioCinema.

In 2024, Rakul had two Tamil films released with S. Shankar’s action film Indian 2 opposite Siddharth and a science fiction film Ayalaan opposite Sivakarthikeyan. Both films went on to be the highest-grossing Tamil films. 

In 2024, Rakul Preet Singh played a role in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, a light comedy film alongside Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Her role as the woman who had to deal with her lover’s ex-wife. Her acting has always been appreciated by the film critics, fans and audiences. 

Rakul Preet Singh’s latest film is a role as Antara Khanna in Mere Husband Ki Biwi. She has acted in Khiladi 1080, action action-adventure film starring along with Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi.

In Indian 2, a Tamil film in which Rakul as Disha in the film who, along with her friends, convince an ex-freedom fighter to return to India to join their mission to fight the unscrupulous politicians. Apart from the Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films Rakul Preet Singh has made a name in the Hindi film industry and has gained recognition.
