Biography
In the 2000s, Yash made appearances in a number of television shows to launch his career. In 2007, he made his feature film debut in Jambada Hudugi. Yash's breakout performance came in the 2008 romance movie Moggina Manasu, for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. Rocky (2008), his first major motion picture, was a box office failure and garnered negative reviews from critics[citation needed]. He then went on to do a string of financially successful romantic movies, and in 2012, he was nominated for his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor in a Dramatic Picture.
