"“A.R.M” (Ajayante Randam Moshanam) is an upcoming 2024 Malayalam action-adventure film written and directed by Jithin Laal, featuring Tovino Thomas in a triple role, along with Krithi Shetty, Basil Joseph, and Aishwarya Rajesh. The movie combines history, folklore, and action, spread over three generations united by the enigmatic Chyothivilaku, a divine lamp with magical powers. The action unfolds in the village of Chyothikkavu, where “Kunjikelu”, an Haripuram warrior, battles to defend the sacred lamp but meets a broken hearted death when he finds out about discrimination on grounds of caste at the temple. Years go by, and his heir Maniyan, a resourceful pickpocket, pilfers the Chyothivilaku to defy society's hypocrisy but suffers a tragic end. During the 1990s, Maniyan's grandson, “M.V. Ajayan”, an electrician, wrestles with his family's sullied name. When a stranger, Sudev, comes with the intention of stealing the original Chyothivilaku and selling it to the British, Ajayan is thrust into a treasure hunt. Following the trail laid down by Maniyan, Ajayan uncovers secret information regarding his grandfather's life, the real location of the lamp, and his own future. In a nail-biting climax, Ajayan retrieves the original Chyothivilaku, overpowers Sudev, and places the lamp in its original position. The tale concludes with Ajayan's ""second theft"" not of treasure, but of his rightful love, Lakshmi. A final shot suggests Maniyan's potential survival, lending a touch of mythology to the narrative.
