Aachari Baa is one of the recently released movies of the family-drama genre. This new film’s story mainly revolves around the life of a sixty-five-year-old widow named ‘Jaishnavi,’ who belongs to a small town in Gujarat and who is popularly recognized for her homemade pickles. Its story starts with Jaishnavi, who gets a call from her son, Ketan, who lives in Mumbai, and invites her to stay with his family. While, her arrival rapidly turns out into an unexpected challenge wherein his family immediately departs for a vacation in Darjeeling, that entrusts Jaishnavi with the sole care of her pet dog, Jenny. Initially, Jaishnavi feels quite surprised after coming across the bustling pace of the city’s life that she struggles to adapt. Although she struggles herself to adapt to the city’s lifestyle, but with the time, she adventures some new circumstances and thereby establishes a bond with Jenny that leads her to meet new people of the residential complex. While, a crisis movement arises when Jaishnavi mistakenly feeds her dog, Jenny, a mixture of pickles and chocolates, due to which the dog falls ill, and then the society’s secretary, Brijesh Malhotra, who steps up to help her find a veterinarian, that brings her further into the society’s community. Further, as the residents discover her exceptional talent of pickle-making, thereby the society members offer her a new sense of purpose and belonging. This is one of the recent movie releases that entertains the audiences with its drama, humour, thrill and suspenseful moments, as well as rightly proves the saying ‘Age is just a number.’
