Ali Baba and 40 Thieves is a hindi film of the action adventure- fantasy genre which is directed by Homi Wadia. This hindi movie’s story mainly revolves around a young man named Ali Baba(Sanjeev Kumar) who is a hard-working and humble woodcutter, who comes across a hidden cave which is filled with innumerous amount of valuable treasures which he tries to steal in order to spend his life easily without any kind of hard work.However, this precious treasure originally belongs to a notorious gang of forty thieves which is leaded by a ruthless leader. Later, as they discover that their treasure’s ornaments and antiques are suddenly vanishing so they plan to investigate upon this matter. As Ali Baba gets hunted by these dangerous thieves, he relies on himself and the help of his cunning and clever servant named Princess Marjina(Lakshmanan Vijayalaxmi). Later, its story explores various life-threatening challenges and traps which are arranged by these forty thieves in order to reclaim their precious equipments which are stolen by Ali Baba and it also shows how Ali Baba escapes these situations along with the help of his servant Marjina who helps him throughout these tricky situations which endanger his life to a great extent. This hindi film wonderfully showcases the emotions of bravery, courage and mental warfare through its engaging storyline which is presented with an excellent blend of humour, romance, drama and suspense.
