Andaz is a 1971 romantic film directed by Ramesh Sippy with the starcast of Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini and Simi Garewal
The widow Sheetal (Hema Malini) is devastated after the death of her husband Raj (Rajesh Khanna). She has a young son whom she has to raise as a single parent. She takes up the job as a teacher in a school. One of her students is a daughter of a widower Ravi( Shammi Kapoor). Her son and his daughter become friends and are instrumental in bringing two single parents together. The film had super hit songs.
Rajesh Khanna was a super star during this film and his role was just 15 minutes and yet he had created quite a stir for the short scenes he had with Hema Malini. Shammi Kapoor being the leading protagonist in the film.
