Chalo Dilli (2011)

Manu Gupta, played by Vinay Pathak, likes to constantly talk and chatter away about anything and everything. Sitting close to him on a flight to Delhi, annoys Mihika who shuts out his voice by listening to music on her ipod. Due to this she doesn’t hear the announcement that the flight is diverted to Jaipur. Shocked, she urgently books a cab where Manu also ends up sharing it with her. They get stranded in the middle of a deserted road and end up staying the night at a dhaba. Slowly Mihika and Manu become friends where she is amused at his rustic behavior while he is bewildered at how high maintenance she is. They both form a bond and go through a crazy journey, where they come across mafia gangs, police officers, funny hotel staff and helpful dhabawalas. Ultimately her husband comes to take her to Delhi while Manu leaves to meet his wife. One reaching his house, Mihika realizes all along he didn’t mention that his wife is in a coma and never complains about her. The movie is directed by Shashant Shah and produced by Krishika Lulla and Kavita Bhupathi Chadda. The music is composed by Gourov Dasgupta, Anand Raj Anand, Sachin Gupta, Rohit Kulkarni and Roshan Balu.
