Daniel (Mohanlal) is interested in Anne (Madhavi), a typist who works in his workplace. Tony (Mammootty), a successful businessman, follows her around a lot and professes his love for her. Tony finally weds Anne, which irritates Daniel. As soon as Anne learns that Tony was a con artist and had been defrauding her, life begins to upset her. Tony explains to her his difficult past and why he decided to become a con artist. Tony kills Daniel in the interim as he is trying to rape Anne. Prem (Captain Raju), a police officer, is tasked with looking into this matter.
