Dhaniram has been living a wealthy and comfortable life, but he is a miser. He loves to save money and will not make any unnecessary expenditure. He loves his money more than his family itself. This frustrates and angers his two sons Ajay and Vijay who are trying to get some money out of their father but fail everytime. Meanwhile Income Tax officer gets into the bad books of Dhaniram and the former gets arrested by the wealthy man on false charges to teach him a lesson. Soon Dhaniram’s brother Gulu and sister Dolly hatch a plan to usurp his wealth and property.
The film is directed by K Ravishankar and produced by Vimal Kumar. The music is composed by Rajesh Roshan and the story is written by Amrit Aryan and Vimal Kumar. The cinematography is by K V Ramanna. The star cast includes Govinda,Kimi, Kader Khan, Asrani, Raj Kiran, Gulshan Grover and Shashi Puri.
