Sunil Shrivastava, played by Suniel Shetty is an aspiring law student and is taught strong values and morals by his father, played by Pran. His father was a freedom fighter during his younger days, and fought the British regime in order to attain independence in India. With these honest and moral intentions, Suniel comes to Mumbai from Allahabad to continue his studies in Law. His ultimate aim is to fight for justice of the people and not let crime and criminals get away with wrong doing.

As time in Mumbai passes by, Suniel comes to the realization that the law and order favors only the rich and powerful. The common man has no identity and stands to lose. Remembering his father’s words, ‘It is better to die than to live like a coward’, he takes on the system all by himself. His work and bravery ets him the name of ‘Ek Hindustani’ among the people, youth and children. Young children aspire to be just like ‘Ek Hisdustani’ and even be called the next ‘Ek Hindustani’. Sunil’s dream however, is to see people stand up against injustice and not let the evil people get away with crime.

The movie is directed by Tinnu Anand and produced by Amar Sharma. The music is composed by Anand Raj Anand and the cinematography is by Basheer Ali.
