Elaan is an Action-Crime Thriller Musical Romantic Drama film exceptionally crafted by K. Ramanlal. The story revolves around the life of Naresh (played by Vinod Mehra)- a journalist working in the leading newspaper- assigned by his boss to investigate the illegal activities present on an isolated island. He moves to Island with his Associate but gets caught by the Goons and they put him in the Jail with a Scientist (played by Jankidas) and Ram Singh (played by Vinod Khanna)- who invented a Ring which can be used for invisibility and Naresh uses the ring to escape from the prison. However, his life gets into danger- the ruthless criminals are behind him for the ring.
