“Hi Nanna” is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by Shouryuv and produced by Vyra Entertainments. Nani and Mrunal Thakur are the lead actors.

“Viraj”, a renowned fashion photographer, is a single father to six-year-old “Mahi”, who has cystic fibrosis. He does not reveal her mother's identity to Mahi, dodging her ceaseless questions about it. One day, Mahi escapes with Pluto, the family dog, and stumbles upon “Yashna”, a compassionate lady, who unwittingly possesses the secrets of their past.

While Viraj is telling a romance tale of "Varsha" to Mahi, Yashna is overwhelmed with emotion, not knowing that she herself is Varsha. She suffered from a tragic accident years ago, which resulted in amnesia, and her mother convinced Viraj that she desired a divorce. Presently, Yashna is betrothed to Dr. Aravind, who healed her. Viraj fears stirring up old wounds and attempts to keep Mahi and Yashna apart.

In spite of his attempts, Yashna and Mahi become inseparable. Yashna, not knowing the complete truth, declares her love to Viraj, only to be rejected. On the day of her wedding, Mahi discovers the shocking truth from her grandmother and suffers a respiratory failure. While Mahi fights for her life, Yashna rushes to the hospital, understanding that she is destined to be with Viraj and Mahi. Aravind and his team successfully operate on Mahi and give her a second lease of life.

“Hi Nanna” is an emotional journey of love, destiny, and second chances. Nani and Mrunal Thakur deliver sweet performances in this beautifully told family drama of strength.
