Kaala Sooraj (1986)

Karan has gained his position as the number one gangster and kingpin in the underworld. He has enjoyed every privilege and comfort due to this. No one dares to come in his way or they will be finished before they know it. Smuggler Majeed cannot bear this and wants everything that Karan has. He thus wants to eliminate Karan and take his position. But its not so easy to get to him, Majeed thus takes the help of Karan’s close associate and friend Ranjeet to hunt him down and finally end Karan’s rein of terror. The film is directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and produced by Debesh Ghosh. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and its story is written by Bimal Dutta. The screenplay is written by Sachin Bhowmick. The dialogues of the film are written by Rahi Masoom Reza and the cinematography is by Jaywant Pathare. The star cast includes Raj Babbar, Amol Palekar, Rekha, Supriya Pathak, Deven Verma and Vidya Sinha.
