Kites is a 2010 Hindi/Spanish mix language Bollywood romantic drama film helmed by Anurag Basu which also had a English Language Version. The film produced by Rakesh Roshan had Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori in the main lead. The movie narrated the story of a Las Vegas based dance teacher who marries immigrant women to get them their green cards but one such passing relationship results in him falling in love for the first time.
Kites starts off by showing the happy life of a Las Vegas based dance teacher who indulges in fake marriages to get women their green cards and part with them afterwards. However his routine gets affected when one such temporary relationship he comes across one such girl who he had met in the past. After spending one night with her prior to her real marriage with a foreigner, they land up in a mess after being chased by her prospective groom to be who had seen them together. The rest of the movie deals with them exploring new facets of love on the run.
Kites rose to positive reviews from the critics and the movie emerged a financial success in all languages.
