Ajay comes home and is entrusted with the great responsibility of taking over the family business. This is due to his widowed father Mathuraprasad not keeping well. His first project is to get possession of a palatial home in the village. When he goes to visit the home he is struck by the young and beautiful Mallika. But she seems to dislike him from the word go. Anything he says or does makes her cringe and hate him all the more. He becomes friendly with her brotherbut soon she forbids him from meeting Ajay. Ajay is baffled by her hostility towards him and on probing further comes to know that his father had embezzled money from Mallika’s father Sumer and thus left the family bankrupt and their house mortgaged. Ajay is upset to hear this but does not know how to correct things as his munim has already filed for papers to take over
possession of the house Mallika and her brother are currently staying in. The film is directed by Hiren Nag and produced by Tarachand Barjatya. The music is composed by Ravindra Jain. The star cast includes Raj Kiran, Shashi Kapoor, Rameshwari, Kavita Kiran, Yunus Perwaiz, Jagirdar, Amrish Puri, Iftekhar, C S Dubey and Sulochana.
