In Tanakpur, the head of the village, Sualal, played by Annu Kapoor is married off at an old age but his wife Maya, played by Hrishita Bhatt is much younger to him. Though he is wealthy and chauvinistic, he is impotent and this sometimes this frustrates his wife and she mocks him for it. Maya happens to meet Arjun, a boy of her age in the village and they fall in love.
They have an affair and Sualal starts doubting Maya.
On Arjun’s sister’s wedding day, he slips out of the ceremony to meet Maya and is quickly followed by Sualal who catches them red handed and Arjun is badly beaten. The matter is kept hush to avoid shame and humiliation of his wife’s affair. He hatches a plan to get Arjun arrested and charges him with rape of a buffalo called Miss Tanakpur. This brings embarrassment to Arjun’s family and his father dies.
Unable to produce Miss Tanakpur in court the case starts to weaken. To inflict further pain, Sualal orders Arjun to be married to the buffalo but on the wedding night she runs away never to be traced again. All charges are dropped and Sualal is arrested for his misdemeanor. The movie is directed by Vinod Kapri and produced by Crossword Films and Vinay Tiwari. The music is composed by Susuhmit Sen and palash Muchhal.
