Laxmi is worried that her husband who had gone to the city to make money to repay the money lenders hasn’t come back yet. She is helpless and left to take care of three little children on her own. The greedy and womanizing money lender doesn’t leave her alone and wants her to be intimate with him in return for help. She refuses and he makes her life a living hell. Shankar wants revenge for the struggles his mother faced.
