Sanjana, played by Kajol is a forgetful and clumsy woman, falls in love with Rahul in Paris. He however dates her for a while and then comes to India and starts seeing another woman. A heart broken Sanjana refuses to give up on her love and comes chasing after him in India. On the flight she meets a co-passenger named Shekhar who hides a stolen necklace in Sanjana’s bag to avoid any problems with customs. Soon it is revealed that her bags get stolen. They chase after the bags but to no avail. She ends up going to his native place and there she comes to know Shekhar needs money for his nephew’s surgery.

 

Inspector Khan is after Shekhar as he knows the stolen diamond necklace is with him. He asks Sanjana to retrieve it and then he wont have to arrest Shekhar. She does as told but gets money from her boss and gives it to Shekhar telling him that she sold the necklace and got the money. Soon inspector reveals the truth to Shekhar and they both confess their love to each other.

 

The movie is directed by Anees Bazmi and produced by Gowardhan Tanwani. The star cast includes Bijay Anand, Om Puri, Anjan Srivastava, Tiku Talsania, Mushtaq Khan, Ghanshyam, Satish Kaul, Mohsin, Shashrukh, Anant Mahadevan, Kashmira Shah, Reema Lagoo, Asha Sharma, Poornima Bhave, Shama Despande and Rema Fernandes.
