Thakur Pratap and his wife Sharda live a wealthy life with their two sons Ram and Lakhan. Pratap’s nephews Bhishambar and Bhanu, are arrested after they are caught stealing the family wealth. They swear revenge but are welcomed by Pratap hoping they have changed their crooked ways. Pratap’s father is tricked by the two crooks into signing a will that excludes Pratap and his family from the property share and are even not allowed to stay at the family palatial home. When Pratap revolves against the duo’s deeds, he is beaten and thrown on the railway tracks where a train cuts him to bits. Sharda watches in horror and prays to the temple everyday that her sons will grow up and take revenge for their father’s killing.

Ram grows up to be a responsible and honest police officer while Lakhan is a happy-go-lucky prankster who is looking for ways to make quick cash anyhow. Soon Lakhan too joins the police force in hopes of wooing his lady love Radha. Things don’t go as planned as greed takes over Lakhan and starts accepting bribes and even joins Bhishamber in his illegal activities. Soon he starts to live in a huge palatial house. It is only when he is double crossed by Bhishamber and Bhanu that he realizes how right his brother Ram was and the latter comes to his rescue. They then join forces to eliminate their father’s killers once and for all.
