Sarzameen is one of the upcoming movies of the drama genre. The narrative for this new film is situated against the politically volatile backdrop of Kashmir. The plot centers around a valiant Army officer named Vijay Menon who is deeply connected to his sense of duty. When terrorism breaches the region, Menon is tasked a perilous mission to defeat any threats and restore stability to a region on fire.

At home, Vijay’s wife Meera fights her hardest to keep the family together through an overwhelming tide of anguish, anxiety and uncertainty about what her husband's profession means for their family. The emotional arc of the narrative lays out the secret sacrifices of those who love a serviceman- the pain of loving and being proud of someone who is choosing their vocation over their family.

Their son Harman has taken a dark twist of fate- he has chosen extremist activity which cause an emotional tension of father vs. son, pride vs. betrayal, national duty vs. family.

While Menon is tasked with confronting enemies that make his country pains, he is forced to confront the most gut-wrenching internal conflict that could rip apart his family. The question becomes: does loyalty to country outweigh personal tragedy.
