Synopsis

The story of the film revolves around two kingdoms namely Gandhar and Avanthi. A brave warrior of Gandhar named Vikram and the prince of Avanthi Aditya look alike but are very different in personalities and character. Aditya is a womanizer and spends his time drinking, while Aditya is a brave and honest warrior. He is falsely accused of the murder attempt on princess Alakananda of Gandhar by the Maha Mantri. He is then sent away and the mantra tries to capture the Gandhar kingdom. Similarly in Avathi, the Raj Guru wants prince Aditya dead and wants his son to take over the kingdom. A lot of trouble brews because of this in both kingdoms. Soon misunderstandings crop up between Vikram and Aditya and they both are mistaken for each other. Eventually Vikram marries Alakananda and also saves Aditya. The film is directed by Krishna and produced by Krishna. The music is composed by Bappi Lahiri and the dialogues are written by Kader Khan. The star cast includes Jeetendra, Jaya Prada, Mandakini, Kader Khan, Shreeram Lagu, Shakti Kapoor, Bharat Bhushan, Gulshan Grover, Amjad Khan, Sujit Kumar, Gurbachan, Parveen Kumar and Radha.
