After his powerful performance in Dhurandhar :The Revenge, veteran actor Arjun Rampal is all set to step into the shoes of a tough and fierce antagonist in one of the most spectacular upcoming film . The actor has officially joined the grand cinematic tribute to the legendary Maratha warrior King, Shivaji in the epic The Pride of Bharat:Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. 


Backed by Sandeep Singh, the filmmaker who makes his theatrical debut with The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, promises a visually rich and emotionally charged historic narrative. Arjun Rampal’s is a part of this massive project as the key antagonist who intensifies the narratives. He sets up a gripping conflict with Rishab Shetty who is the lead star and headlines the film.  The much acclaimed actress Shefali Shah portrays as Rajmata Jijabai is the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj which has further added the depth to the star cast ensemble. 


The music is composed by Pritam and cinematography is by Ravi Varman. The film is gearing up for its production the later half of the year 2026 while its designed as a Pan India Spectacle.  The film aims to blend cutting edges with the visuals with a powerful and emotional core. It will further bring alive the courage and strategy of one India’s greatest legacy.

Mean while this film is joined by a growing list of big screen portrayals of Shivaji Maharaj and Raja Shivaji by actor producer, director Riteish Deshmukh who is setting the stage for another cinematic epic and may clash on the historical narrative with the film.
