3 days after
its release Abhishek Bachchan’s I Want to Talk managed to collect 1.3 Crores as
its box office collection in India.
The film has
seen a low start with INR 25 lac on the opening day on Friday 55 lacs on
Saturday and 50 Lak on Sunday. The film has earned much less than ‘Ghoomer’
Abhishek’s last theatrical release which made 3,45 crore in three days of its
release.
Directed by Shoojit Sircar Abhishek Bachchan is seen as a
single parent who has put on weight for the role portraying his journey from
being lost and finding himself again.
Director Soojit Sarkar has called Abhishek’s one of the best
performances in the role, while he has
gone through a major transformation physically to portray the role. The movie explores deep emotional
themes, with Abhishek delivering a powerful performance.
While the collaboration
between Bachchan and Sircar has a meaningful blending, the film has received
mixed reviews from the audiences.
