Veteran actor of Hindi film industry Feroz Khan was always known for doing something new with his films. He worked in many memorable films as an actor, but his contribution to Hindi cinema as a filmmaker cannot be forgotten.


Feroz Khan's films show tremendous influence of classic Hollywood Westerns. Feroz Khan was an actor as well as director and producer. He made almost every detail related to film making his skill.

Feroz Khan was the first Bollywood filmmaker to bring the cowboy style to India.The characters played by Hollywood actor Clint Eastwood are considered the ideal cowboy image. Feroz Khan first appeared in the cowboy look in the 1974 film Khote Sikkay.Hat on head, long boots, jacket and burning cigar in hand made Feroz Khan a style icon. His style greatly influenced young India.


Feroz Khan, who taught Bollywood a different style, breathed his last in 2009 at the age of 70. Today i.e. 27th April is his death anniversary. As an actor, he tried to do something unique with every film. From Dharmatma to Qurbani, many of his films reflect the actor's experimentation.
