Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Kapoor is a tragic love story and is expected to sail through a favorable theatrical run. As in the times of crime and horror films a love story is what may reap the benefits and there are good chances that the film is going to make around Rs. 37 to Rs. 40 crores in the extended week ahead. A decent trend it began with pre-Diwali , the domestic box office is expecting favorable results.


For records Harshvardhan Rane’s Sanam Teri Kasam had collected Rs. 34 crore net during its release this year. The film went on to be the highest grossing film. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, the way its performing is expected to go beyond his earlier and may comfortably go beyond the Rs. 50 crore mark.


Clash with the film Thamma


Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat directed by Milap Zaveri was released along with a bigger budget film Thamma. The film wasn’t released in small stand-alone theatres or smaller centers which could have probably help with a higher occupancy and better showcasing due to which the film did not gain the kind of numbers that were expected.
