Shah Rukh Khan, who faced one of the most challenging phases of his life during Aryan Khan’s arrest in the 2021 drugs-on-cruise case, reportedly went to great lengths to ensure his son had the best legal defense.

According to reports, the superstar personally pleaded with the wife of senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi to convince him to take up Aryan’s case.

At the time, Rohatgi was in England, and Shah Rukh Khan is said to have even offered a private jet to fly him back to Mumbai. It is believed that Shah Rukh Khan checked into the same Mumbai hotel as the lawyer to hold discussions and prepare notes for the high-profile case.

The arrest of Aryan Khan had shaken the Khan family, with Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan enduring a highly stressful period under intense media and public scrutiny. With Rohatgi eventually joining the defense team, Aryan secured bail, bringing relief to the family after weeks of turmoil.
