The makers had given information about the new release date by postponing the release date of their film and told that Luv Ranjan's upcoming feature film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be released in theaters next year on March 8, 2023, i.e., on the occasion of Holi. Will be Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film is being produced by Bharat Bhushan of Luv Films and T-Series along with Ankur Garg.
