Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi had faced many setbacks in his early career. He had overcome the disappointment with the help of family support.


Siddhant Chaturvedi's Blunt Revelation


Siddhant Chaturvedi recalled how his first big-budget film, which he had signed at the age of twenty-one years, was somehow scrapped within six months of its preparation.


In a formal conversation with Mashable India, Siddhant said, 'When I was twenty-one or twenty-two years old, I had given an audition and even got the film. The workshop went on for a significant time period of six months. For that purpose, I had transitioned my avatar as per the role's requirement. However, the film was shelved. Further, whenever I would see myself in the mirror, I would see myself as the same character. That was the reason I had shaved my head, because that was a big shock for me.


Further, the actor said, 'I was very depressed for three months after that, until my mother told me that I should appear for the CA final as well as my father had motivated me.'

While Siddhant Chaturvedi had made his debut with the film 'Gully Boy' released in 2019. Siddhant was the second lead in the film and was praised by the audiences for his role as the rapper MC Sher. Later, he went on to appear in various films such as Gehraiyaan, Phone Bhoot, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Bunty Aur Babli 2 and Yudhra. Moreover, he will be seen in the upcoming film, 'Dhadak 2' wherein he will be sharing screen with Tripti Dimri.
